The first and only authorised specialist store, dedicated to a brand whose name is synonymous with over 150 years of horological excellence. It has resulted in a collection of time pieces that highlight the origins of the contemporary OMEGA watch.
The OMEGA legacy harkens back to a time when watches became known as triumphs of form and function. This becomes increasingly evident when tracing through the roots of the iconic names in the collection. This is epitomised by the first Speedmaster 'Moon watch' whose design remains largely unaltered in its 50 year history, and was originally advertised "for men who reckon time in seconds".
We are privileged to be in possession of a wide range of vintage OMEGA time pieces, from its humble beginnings in "La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1848 right up to the innovative 70s era which gave rise to the revolutionary Dynamic series; a zeitgeist of the decade.
Established in 1970, our reputation at Somlo Antiques has developed on our excellent customer service and commitment to our clients who deserve and expect nothing less. As a member of the British Antique Dealers Association (BADA) we are obliged to adhere to their code of conduct and regulations.
