so-called “Anakin Skywalker”
Omega launched the “Anakin Skywalker” in 1970. One of the two watches in the durable metal collection, this watch has had its bezel bombarded with a coating of tungsten,
which is a hard, scratch-resistant metal.
The movement in these watches is “suspended” in a separate container within the case between two o-rings, to afford maximum shock protection.
