OMEGA Seamaster 300
Introduced in 1957, a diver's watch specially designed for professional and amateur divers. The Seamaster 300 is a high precision instrument, self winding, shock protected and an anti magnetic watch.
OMEGA guaranteed the watches water resistant to a depth of 200m. This watch was also used by divers of the British Royal Navy. It was the first watch to feature an unidirectional diving bezel.
Investors should be aware that a number of fake examples of this timepiece, particularly from online auction houses, are on the market. Customers should only trust qualified retailers.
OMEGA Seamaster 600m "Ploprof"
The ever greater depths at which professional divers worked inspired OMEGA's engineers in 1970 to conceive a special watch to resist these crushing pressures.
The "Ploprof" was famously used by Commander Jacques-Yves Cousteau during a series of experiments in the waters off the coast of Marseille. These experiments were designed to test man's physical and psychological endurance when working at depths of 500m.
The Seamaster is carved from a single block of steel, equipped with an immensely strong tempered glass, and has a special twin-locking crown. At the time it was waterproof to 600 metres/2000 feet.
OMEGA Flightmaster
Launched in 1969 the Flightmaster was designed with the needs of long haul pilots in mind. However it was also the right chronograph for sportsmen and travellers due to its GMT function.
These watches were true multifunction watches with chronograph, 30 minute recorder, 12 hour recorder, twenty four hour indication, independently adjustable second time zone hand in the form of a jet and a turning bezel with minute scale, protected by its crystal.

OMEGA Speedmaster
The Speedmaster, created in 1957, can correctly and in all modesty be named the most famous chronograph in the world.
Its marvellous story starts in 1965, when after exhaustive tests the Speedmaster chronograph was selected by NASA to equip their Astronauts which is still the case today. The early "Broad Arrow" version, ref. CK 2915-2, and the "Moon Watch" with symmetric case, ref. ST 145.003 have become very rare.
